Press Brake Tooling to Punch 6,5mm Copper or Steel Plates - Bus Bars are typical.

Although the tooling shown here does not contain the components, copper bus bar elements are punched in these tools in a three station set up. In this case the plates - which can be steel, copper or aluminium - of 6,5mm thickness are located against stops in the first left hand station. After the first blow of the press the component is moved to the next stage for more holes to be punched and so on. The tools shown are popular M14 units with 150mm throat depths (6”) and after the job is completed they can be used for other jobs and set ups.
