The above illustration shows special miniature punching tools where a series of these are used to punch thin plastic with rectangular holes for binder covers in a specially made hydraulic press.

The ‘Minni-Die’ punch head concept has been the mainstay of our product range for nearly forty years and many different special units can utilise this flexible concept. Here, a special conner crop unit has two punch heads alongside to be able to punch and notch the corners of 5mm thick silo panels in one operation.

The above units are based on Model M8 and are bolted together to form a complete unit to punch two holes at 18,0mm centres in a Hydraulic ‘Uni-Cage’ used by a greenhouse manufacturer

Side piercing units sometime have to be used to ensure that punched holes are accurately positioned in relation to flanges in pre-formed componets - like car bumper fenders for example. Here the tools could be for use on a press or with an integral hydraulic cylinder.
