Decoiling, Air Feeding and Punching of Strip - eg:- slotted strip for Furniture Shelving Brackets

This customer required an automatic machine to punch slotted strip to build into office furniture - and suitable for adjusting shelving brackets. The solution is for a decoiling station (out of view) using 12mm x 2mm strip fed through the tools by an air operated feeder. The first tool punches a rectangle slot for a selectable number of repeats and the second tool is a crop tool to finish and start the component strip when punching of the slots is complete. The machine works at 60 strokes per minute and produces a punched strip in about 30 seconds - unattended. A pull through seven roll leveller ahead of the feeder is used to take the bow out of the strip.
