Punching & Notching Flat Sheet or Strip - This machine is for steel shelving components

The component is punched and cropped in two blows. The second blow can involve turning the blank over in front of the operator, which places ‘burrs’ on each side (but sometimes this does not matter in a hidden component). Or the blank can be rotated 180 degrees in the same plane so that the blank is punched from the same side each time. The corner crop tool is an ‘HM91’ based on our standard ‘M91’ model parts - installed in a custom profiled steel body. The hydraulic cylinder is a single acting SF121 model to develop 27 tons maximum force. The intermediate units are based on Model M20 punch head parts installed in custom profiled steel bodies fitted with SF30 single acting hydraulic cylinders to develop 6,5 tons per station. The cycle time is 2 seconds plus the floor to floor loading time which is all down to the operator.
